While I do not provide diagnoses or accept insurance, I offer expert guidance and practical strategies to support meaningful communication progress.

About Me:
I graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and have dedicated nearly 20 years to serving students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist-Limited (SLP-L). Since 2006, I have held an SLP-L license with the Arizona Department of Health Services and a Speech-Language Technician (SLT), (Pre-K-12) license with the Arizona Department of Education, working extensively with students from preschool through 12th grade.
Throughout my career, I have specialized in evaluating and treating a wide range of communication challenges, including receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation, fluency, voice, social/pragmatic language, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). With two decades of experience conducting evaluations, writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and delivering therapy services, I now bring my expertise to the public through high-quality virtual speech-language tutoring.
At Laura’s Speech Tutoring, I provide personalized support to individuals and families, fostering communication growth in a comfortable and encouraging virtual setting. My mission is to empower individuals with the skills and confidence they need to express themselves effectively. While my services offer comprehensive tutoring and consultation, I do not provide diagnoses or accept insurance.

We used Laura as our son's speech tutor to supplement services he received at school. Laura was a pleasure to work with and our son looked forward to her sessions.Laura adapted her tutoring style to our son's needs. She provided us with guidance about our speech concerns and tips to help at home with annunciation. At the end of the school year, our son tested out of speech at his school!
